The James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship was established in 1999 by the General Executive Board to honor Jimmy Hoffa who served as General President for 14 years. The Fund awards academic scholarships from $1,000 to $10,000 and training program/vocational scholarships from $500 to $2,000 to the children and financial dependents of Teamster members.
